Arimatheans gather in the church for a funeral to bring comfort to the grieving family members and their friends. They serve as greeters and distribute the Order of Worship and if needed serve as a Reader. If you would like to help in this valued ministry, please call the office @ 556-4611.

Registration forms for Basketball Camps this summer are on the table in the Family Life Center. Girls Camp is June 17 – 20 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Boys Camp is June 24 – 27 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Registration forms and information are also on our website www.saintjosephchas.com for your convenience.)

Bereavement Committee prepares a meal to bring comfort to a grieving family. Please call if interested in helping out occasionally.

FUNdraisers - A group of parishioners, men and women, young and mature, who come up with ideas on parish fund raisers. Then they work hard to make the events successful.

Knights of Columbus - John J. Egan Council meets on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month at 7:00 p.m. in the Scout Hut. We are a Catholic men’s fraternal organization which promotes charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism.

Ladies Club meets the second Monday of the month in the FLC at 7 p.m. The next meeting is Monday, May 13th.

Parish Council meets the second Tuesday of each month (except June and July) in the FLC library at 7 p.m. The next meeting is Tuesday, May 14th. The meetings are open to all parishioners.

Piecemakers meet every Monday morning at 9 a.m.

R.C.I.A. (Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults) If interested in becoming a Catholic or learning more about your faith, contact Linda @ 556-4611 ext. 104 for more information.

Respect for Life - Please join us in praying the rosary at the abortion clinic located within our parish boundaries. We pray every third Saturday of the month from 8-9 a.m. under the guidance of one of our diocesan priests or deacons. Contact Steve Boyle at 763-0681.

St. Vincent de Paul We are always looking for anyone interested in helping us care for those in need. If you would like to help us, please contact: Tim Allega @ 571-5597.

Sunday School for children ages 3-5 takes place during the 10:30 Mass on Sundays during the school year. Children must be registered prior to attending the first time.

Welcoming Group has two missions. First to meet, welcome and help acclimate those who are new to the parish and second, to foster caring relationships and a sense of “friendliness” among the parish family.
